We want to be a singing church! We use contemporary music because that’s the musical language with which our culture is most familiar. We also remake old hymns because many of them have stood the test of time for a reason and because they remind us that we are connected as the body of Christ with faithful men and women who have been worshipping our God for thousands of years. As we respond with singing our prayer is that it will lead us beyond the walls of the church to offer our entire lives in service as a continual act of worship. (Romans 12:1) So whether you’ve ever sung to a microphone—or only to a showerhead—we hope you will join us in belting out praises to our great God!
